Jeffrey Levitetz

Chairman

Jeff Levitetz founded Purity Wholesale Grocers, Inc in 1982 and currently serves as Chairman for PWG and its operating divisions. Jeff developed the business and has guided the PWG operation and its employees to achieve its role today as a leader in the grocery diverting industry.

Rutner

Alan Rutner

President

Alan Rutner joined the PWG family in 1990 as Assistant Controller. Alan came to PWG as a CPA and over the years gained experience in all operational activities. Alan’s responsibilities as President includes PWG operations, which encompasses Warehousing, Accounting, MIS, Human Resources, Property Management, and Business Development. Alan is also responsible for Sales, Buying, Managing Inventory, Customer Service, Transportation, and Marketing for all divisions of PWG.

Our Sales Team

Denise Lawlor

Vice President Supreme

Denise Lawlor joined the PWG family in 1996 in the capacity of Pharmaceutical Buyer for the Supreme division. Denise gained much experience and was promoted to Head Buyer and Division manager before becoming Vice President of Supreme. Denise leads a team of sales reps and buyers located throughout the country whose main focus is the buying and selling of health and beauty care and general merchandise products.

Dandavis

Dan Davis

Vice President Marketing

Dan Davis joined the PWG family in 1997 in the capacity of Diverting Coordinator. Dan was later promoted to Diverting Supervisor, then to Marketing Manager. Dan works on coordinating marketing and sales efforts, with a focus on system and reporting efficiencies, systems training and employee development. Dan leads a team of employees located at various customer locations throughout the country.

Kintz

Steve Kintz

Sales Manager

Steve Kintz joined the PWG family in 1995 as a sales representative actively buying and selling in the grocery, frozen & perishable categories. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 2017. Steve currently represents both PWG & AWG offices managing our sourcing, sales and buying teams, focused on all supermarket categories bringing value to our customers. He works closely with all departments for business development, sales, marketing, distribution, and traffic.

Daniella

Daniella Jordan Needelman

Director of Human Resources

Daniella Jordan Needelman joined the PWG family in 2015 as the Executive Director of the Levitetz Family Foundation, forging a path of philanthropy. During her tenure, she simultaneously pursued a Master's Degree in Business from Nova Southeastern University. In early 2022, Daniella accepted the role of Director of Human Resources, entrusted with overseeing employee relations, recruitment, and benefits across all PWG divisions and affiliated companies.

Jankus

Thomas Jankus

Vice President Accounting

Tom Jankus joined the PWG family in 1991 as a Senior Staff Accountant. Tom assumed increasing responsibility for a growing operation and added a great deal of efficiency to the department through technology and procedural development. He worked very closely with the distribution operation in regard to accounting procedures and inventory control. Tom oversees PWG’s diverse accounting team.

Carroll

Jack Carroll

Vice President Distribution/Transportation

Jack Carroll joined the PWG family in 1990, beginning his PWG career in transportation. In 1998 Jack became the Vice President of Transportation. He relocated in 2000 to Lebanon, Indiana to take the role of Vice President of Distribution. In 2014 Jack also added Traffic and Transportation back to his responsibilities. Jack’s combined expertise in the areas of distribution, traffic, and transportation are keys to managing PWG's efficient warehouse and shipping operation.

Krichmar

Bruce Krichmar

Vice President Business Development

Bruce Krichmar joined the PWG family in 1991 as an Assistant Controller. In 1997 Bruce was promoted to Vice President of Accounting Operations, making noted accomplishments in receivables and accounting for the marketing divisions. With Bruce’s extensive knowledge of freight operations and freight payables, he moved to the position of Vice President of Transportation. In 2014 Bruce moved to a newly created position of VP of Business Development. In that role Bruce can use his varied business experiences to help expand PWG's growth into new areas of operations, including PSI and EZWholesale.
